We are a group of Humanists covering the Windsor, and wider East Berkshire and South Bucks areas. We provide the opportunity for the non-religious to meet like minded people on a regular basis and to build a sense of community demonstrating that you can be ‘Good without Gods’!
We meet regularly to enjoy each other’s company, to debate topical issues and to contribute to our local communities and charities. Please refer to the Events section on our Meetup page to find out more about our upcoming events and/or join our facebook group page. We are affiliated to both the Humanist UK and the National Secular Society. All are very welcome to join us.
Humanism is a positive life stance centred on people which aims to create a more open, just and caring society based on our shared humanity rather on religious doctrine or belief in a divine afterlife. We believe this is the one life we have thus we should make the most of it for ourselves, and for others. In todays world of increasing extremism there is a need for more rational considered debate based on evidence and science, and this is what Humanism tries to achieve.

What one of our volunteers / supporters “looks” like…:
We are completely volunteer lead and have a small committee that organises our monthly socials, discussions and debates. We are active in the local Inter Faith Groups, we have a number of trained Humanist School Speakers, Humanists Chaplains and links to local Humanist Celebrants.
We are always keen to welcome new members who want to get involved and help us represent the non religious in the East Berkshire area. According to the 2021 Census 34% of people in the Royal Borough are non religious which is larger than any individual religious community, so it is important that the non religious perspectives are represented in the Borough.
