Clewer Leisure Painters
CLEWER LEISURE PAINTERS are a sociable group of amateur artists who meet weekly to paint or draw in the medium of our choice.
We meet on Friday mornings from 10am to 12 noon, all year round (with the exception of the Friday between Christmas and New Year) at New Windsor Community Association, Hanover Way, Windsor, SL4 5NW
There is ample free parking.
Are there any restrictions on membership? No, we welcome everyone.
Do you offer tuition? We offer help and advice, we prefer you to “do your own thing”. We have a Mentor with considerable art teaching experience who will be pleased to give advice.
How can I pay? We pay by term (10 weeks) – cash, cheque or bank transfer.
Can I come and meet everyone before joining? Yes of Course! We are happy to see you, let you meet us and see what we do. Have a cuppa with us!
What about refreshments? We take turns to make tea/coffee.
Are we allowed to chat while we work? Yes of course, just bear in mind some people might be trying to concentrate!
I’ve never drawn/painted before, is that ok? Yes! We are keen to encourage beginners – we don’t judge. Its YOUR art, so do what you want. Experts and beginners equally welcome.
