Last year I decided, after getting over 35,000 visitors to the blog in 2023, that I wanted to achieve 50,000 in 2024. And we did, 53,311 but on achieving 50k visitors I went chasing 80k views and we did 81,027… but this comes at a price and to what end?
Page views are in many ways simply ego and don’t mean anything to anyone else. If people know what we do then great but do they need reminding every day of the week?
Producing more interesting content rather than posts that generate clicks makes more sense, adding to our professionalism and the actual real value we bring to the Windsor community in 2025.
384 posts in 2024. Mostly ours. 2025, we’ll look to share more posts by local community groups and only produce 2 posts a week ourselves = 100 of our own, 100+ by local groups.
If you have something to share then fill in our news story post and we’ll reply by asking for a picture to go with the words… or we’ll just ask ChatGPT to produce one based on the content 😉
This also fits with less personal engagement on social media as it is so blinkingly addictive and there are only so many cat videos you can watch before your brain turns to mush!
This is in keeping with the BLD Diet Plan 2025 and the 2lb I’ve already lost by eating more green stuff 😉
