Maidenhead Primary Care Network
The Maidenhead Primary Care Network is a group of nine GP Practices
working together with a range of local providers to offer more personalized
and coordinated health and social care to the 70,000-patient population in Maidenhead.
We can support you with lifestyle changes, link you to services and community groups to support your health and wellbeing. Self-referrals are
welcomed.

Society of Later Life Advisers and Cliveden Manor Care Home
Daniel is an IFA and member of the Society of Later Life Advisers whose aim is to ensure that people are better informed about the financial issues of later life. By using a fully accredited adviser of the Society of Later Life advisers, you can have trust and confidence in the advice you receive. Sharing the stand is the Cliveden Manor Care Home located in Marlow, offering residential, nursing, Dementia and respite care.

People to Places
People to Places provides a door-to-door transport service for local residents of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead with mobility needs.

At Heritage Healthcare, we are passionate about providing high-quality care services to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

Men in Sheds
Men in Sheds meets every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10am to
12pm at the back of Boyn Grove Community Centre, 11 Courthouse Rd,
Maidenhead, SL6 6JE. The group gathers to socialise, enjoy the environment created in the community space, undertake woodworking and minor mechanical projects and repurposing activities that make best use of all the shed can offer.”

Men’s Matters
We are a social wellbeing group for older, retired men. We meet on
Monday afternoons in Dedworth and Wednesday afternoons at The
Maidenhead Community Centre. We have an 8-minute film on our

expert home care across the area.

Absolute Mobility
Absolute Mobility are a professional and friendly team who specialize in
accessible bathrooms for all.

The Library Service
Our libraries are designated safe spaces and offer useful resources to help
you. Access to computers, printing and photocopying and free Wi-Fi.

Borrow
physical, electronic and audio books, stream music, movies and
documentaries. Find information about our events and activities online.

Age UK Berkshire
We provide health & well-being support services for older people across
Berkshire to help everyone love later life. This includes ongoing one-to-one
support and activities for people living with dementia.

Leisure Focus
Leisure Focus was established to work with local communities, supporting
clubs, organizations and individuals to achieve their sporting and lifestyle
goals. They run the Braywick Leisure centre and other Leisure Centres in
the area.

Thames Hospice
Proudly serving the community of East Berkshire and South
Buckinghamshire for more than 36 years, we work in partnership with our
local healthcare colleagues to provide specialist palliative and end-of-life
care services to people aged 16 and over in their own homes and within the
Hospice.

Maidenhead United Community Trust & The Maidenhead Men’s Group
The Maidenhead United Community Trust offer a range of activities and events.
They also have information about the Maidenhead Men’s Group which is a
weekly peer to peer support group for men, free to attend and tea is
included. It meets at the Maidenhead United Football Club.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service
A Safe and Well Visit is a free service that we provide to eligible residents.
Safe and Well visits are tailored to individual needs, relating to health and
wellbeing, as well as fire risk reduction. A Safe and Well visit will take place
in the home and can be arranged at a convenient time.

Right at Home Maidenhead
Whether a family member needs a little extra help around the house,
assistance recovering from a hospital stay, or someone to check in on them
throughout the week, or even some companionship when a loved one needs to go out, Right at Home Maidenhead homecare could be the answer.

Thames Valley & Great Western Omnibus Trust
Along the corridor tracked by the Great Western Railway, many famous bus
companies have helped to shape the communities they’ve served. The Trust
aims to keep alive the rich history and memories of these companies, by
restoring and preserving surviving vehicles and providing access to them for the public.

GoodGym
GoodGym is a registered charity with lots of friendly members who like to
keep fit and help people. We help individuals and community groups with
practical tasks and visit isolated older people.

NHS Berkshire Talking Therapies
NHS Berkshire Talking Therapies supports those with low mood, anxiety and depression. It’s a friendly and approachable therapy and counselling service for people aged 17 and over.

RBWM Social Services
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) Social Services
provides support and care for vulnerable individuals, including older adults,
children, families, and people with disabilities. Their services include
safeguarding, adult social care, children’s services, mental health support,
and assistance for carers. They work in partnership with local organizations to promote well-being and independence within the community.

Forestcare
Forestcare specialise in assistive technology (Lifelines) operating Berkshire wide and will have their equipment on display. Based In Bracknell, they offer 24/7 telecare and out-of-hours emergency response service that supports vulnerable individuals, including older adults and those with disabilities. It provides alarm systems, welfare checks, and rapid assistance to help people live independently and safely in their homes.

Abbeyfield Maidenhead
Abbeyfield Maidenhead is a charitable organization dedicated to providing
quality accommodation, care, and companionship for older adults in
Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Established in 1973 by Sir Nicholas
Winton, the society operates two residential care homes: Winton House in
Windsor and Nicholas House in Burnham.

Castle View
Castle View Windsor is a modern retirement village offering high-quality,
independent living for older adults. It features stylish apartments, a vibrant
community, and amenities such as a rooftop lounge, restaurant, and 24-hour support. Located near Windsor Castle, it provides a secure and sociable environment for a fulfilling retirement.

Desborough Bowling Club
After 112 years at York Road, Maidenhead, The Bowling Club moved in May
2019 to a brand new purpose-built multi-million-pound Club situated in Green Lane, Maidenhead. The new club facilities include indoor bowling on 8 rinks and a 6-rink outdoor green. There are also full bar and catering facilities on site. Excellent and comfortable lounge bar and seating areas for up to 150 people.

Dementia Care Advisers
The RBWM Optalis Dementia Care Advisers Service provides specialist
support, guidance, and practical advice for individuals living with dementia
and their carers. The service helps navigate care options, access local
resources, and plan for the future, promoting independence and well-being
within the community.

Citizens Advice East Berkshire
Citizens Advice East Berkshire provides free, confidential, and impartial
advice to residents of East Berkshire on a range of issues, including benefits, debt, housing, employment, and consumer rights. Their trained advisers offer support online, over the phone, and in person, helping people find solutions and make informed decisions.

Maidenhead Community Watch Association
We seek to make Maidenhead a safer and more pleasant place to live. To
achieve this we provide a free Home Security Survey (HSA) to elderly
residents and vulnerable adults in SL6. We have formed a trained DBS
checked team who conduct all HSAs and make recommendations.

Keep Safe Stay Well – The Optalis Falls Prevention Team
This is a service, provided by Optalis, that is designed to provide early help
so that people stay as well and independent as possible. It has a particular
focus on falls prevention. The service actively helps people to get what they
need to keep safe and stay well.
