Katharina Bareiss just became Windsor and Eton Rotary Club’s newest member. As Marketing and Events Co-ordinator for Konami she knows all about community engagement and how to play the game 😉
Katharina has been a regular attendee for the last 3 months, getting to know other members of the Rotary Club and joining in the Summer Fayre on 27th June earning bonus points by becoming Donald Duck on and off for the last month as we sell duck tickets in the build up to the main event.
Katharina has an MA in Japanese Studies from Eberhard-Karls-Univrsitat Tubingen, Germany and an MSc from Brunel University in Cross Cultural Psychology topped off for good measure with a Diploma in Professional Marketing from Oxford. She is fluent in German, Japanese and English with a dash of French and Chinese for good measure! Making her a great vehicle to spreading President Rotary International K R Ravindran’s message of “Be a Gift to the World”.
Always with a smile, she obviously communicates well and is very community minded, making her a great asset to our club as we move forward looking for more community minded, intelligent professionals to join our ranks… if you happen to know anyone who fits this description who would enjoy meeting on Monday lunchtimes, 1pm – 2pm, at The Castle Hotel Windsor then get them to call me and I will explain how we roll 😉
In a show of girl power unity, Gill Labrum, Head of Windsor Girl’s School shared with us her achievements over the last 8 years and was awarded, on behalf of the girls, the Rotary Youth Speaks Winners trophy.
Thank you.
