Have you been Fined at the School Gate for dropping litter?
After hearing from a resident that the District Environmental Crime Officers had been “hunting” for fines outside Dedworth School gate I asked the question “Why?” at Maidenhead Town Forum last night and wasn’t surprised to hear this activity is also going on over in Maidenhead.
The DECO lead tried to justify this but it feels like they are looking to milk the fines while potentially compromising the safety of our children and that doesn’t sit well with me.
I am therefore interested in hearing from any parents that have been fined or approached by the DECOs while on the school run.
