It was my birthday today so we wanted somewhere dog friendly and headed for Eton. We like a comfy chair and so it proved difficult. Crossing back over the river we thought how about The Boatman?
Perfect, they asked if we’d like a bowl of water for Sid… figured it’s my birthday, how about some chicken. They’d marinated the chicken breasts but had chicken wings… happy days 😉
Nice bottle of Australian Shiraz, fish and chips for me, burger for Ali, wings for Sid, everybody had their fill.
Then we popped into The Swan on the way home, rude not to.
Glad to see they are not breaking too many glasses 😉
Nicely done, home for a brew and perhaps a little more shiraz after a snooze 😉
