Have you been along and experienced EPIC Thursday’s at The Swan in Clewer… well you should. Pic of recent event.
Tara Harris PCSO got the party started, at this month’s Tesco Community Champions Coffee Morning at The Swan, sharing how Thames Valley Police are looking to engage more at community events now that they are starting up again. Carole Da Costa spoke about the work of the West Windsor Hub in assisting those vulnerable in our community. Victoria Holt shared her new role at Optalis and how she is looking to change perceptions. Steve Sansom was joining more dots than there are stars in the sky while it sounds like, if King Charles III doesn’t start using his kitchen garden at Windsor Castle, then Helen Price has got it earmarked as a veg plot to provide the local community with potatoes all year round 😉 Daniel accepted my offer of the boards my grandfather made for my childhood fort. The walls may have crumbled but the base has another 50 years of Warhammer left in it.
I reinforced the Tesco Foyer as a great location for sharing news with all age groups and that more of the community groups need to contact me about spending a day there sharing what their group does to help others.

If you are part of a community group and want to connect with others who may have a different focus but have probably solved many of the same problems you are having then the coffee mornings are a good space to share information.
Join us next time… 10am to 12pm… and if you’d like to host an event in mid August then please let me know as the school is closed and Daniel is hitting the beach 😉
Thank you.
