This morning I was made aware of a flyer doing the rounds, alterting residents of the Bray Parish area that falls into the RBWM Clewer and Dedworth West Ward that RBWM might ignore them if they don’t make themselves known. The area in red falls into both borough and parish areas.

Borough Ward Councillors have been distributing the letter below.

There is really nothing to worry about. These flyers need sweeping up off the streets of Broom Farm and disposed of in the nearest recycling bin 😉
Bray Parish Council is the same tier of local government as Windsor Town Council would be if it existed. Residents already have the opportunity to participate in parish council meetings and have their say.
As far as I am aware, the cabinet wants to create a Windsor Town Council and there is a process to go through, which has already started.
You are welcome to attend the cabinet meeting on 24th March, email Oran if you wish to speak.
The boundaries will not change during this process and those in Clewer & Dedworth West who are not in Bray Parish will likely be part of Windsor Town Council.
I am unsure of the purpose of this flyer. To my mind, it demonstrates poor decision making, not in keeping with the Nolan Principles.
Thank you.
