Our 1000th Blog – Finding Local Heroes
We’ve been publishing content online since 2009, our current blog on WordPress coming into being in 2014, since then we have published 999 blogs and so we wanted the 1000th to bring something new…
Last few years I’ve been very focused on local politics but now that needs putting to one side while we focus on community and how we can help bolster awareness of some of the less well known local community groups & charities.
The Directory is taking shape and what would be great content, to sit alongside that, would be stories about local people. People who are doing great things for their local community and others should know more about them.
I’m happy to sit down with them, chat over a cup of tea and create a short blog post about them and what makes them tick. What they have done for the local community, what their current focus is and how others might help them.
